Description

Wing span: 38 - 46 mm; body length: 35 - 37 mm
 
Also known as the Orange Featherleg. Mature adults have a orange-red abdomen, which coupled with blue eyes make this a very attractive damselfly.
 
This species is endemic to France and Spain. It prefers running water, mostly with fast or medium current. The flight season is from the end of May to mid-August.
