Crested Lark (Galerida cristata)

L: 17 - 19 cm
A little larger than a Skylark with a long, pointed crest. Thirty-three subspecies are recognised.
It is found widely in Europe but is a rare vagrant in the British Isles.
It breeds in fields, on open industrial sites, etc.
It is of Least Concern in the IUCN classification.
