DescriptionWing span: 28 - 34 mm
A small blue, similar to Silver-studded and Idas. The underside is grey with an orange band on oth wings. The underside marginal spots have shiny blue centres.
It is patchily distributed in southern and central Europe.
It is found in grassy meadows and abandoned fields with scrub.
There are two broods, the first in May - June, and the second in July - August.
The main larval foodplant is Coronilla varia. Larvae are attended by several species of ant.
